Diverse social contribution activities at sites nationwide

In FY2025, we continuously conducted a wide range of social contribution activities, centered on three areas: conservation of the local environment, development of the next generation and community safety. As donation activities, we provided support on an ongoing basis, including the collection of plastic bottle caps (Eco Cap) and fundraising for Japanese Red Cross Society activities, thereby contributing to local communities. We also actively supported the development of the next generation by hosting workplace experience programs. In terms of collaboration with local communities, we conducted a community clean-up activity in December and took part in the Toyota City illegal dumping patrol four times a year, in May, August, November and February, working to conserve the local environment. In April and July, we also conducted traffic safety watch activities at crossings, contributing to greater awareness of traffic safety in the community. In the environmental field, we participated in the “Nichiban Tape Core ECO Project,” collecting adhesive tape cores on an ongoing basis to promote resource circulation. In addition, we cooperated with an invention club and sponsored the “SpoGOMI Tournament in Toyota” (a competitive litter-collecting sports event) and Toyota Stadium, supporting regional promotion and the development of young people.

Donation of food supplies during Ramadan

Sirnabaya Village, Karawang, West Java, Indonesia

To coincide with the Ramadan period, we donated 100 sets of basic food supplies to residents of Sirnabaya Village. Through support for local residents, this contributed to strengthening relationships with the local community and promoting ongoing communication.

Beach clean-up activity

Guanyin Seaside Recreation Area, Taiwan

Employee volunteers from across the company took part in a beach clean-up as a social contribution activity. A total of 137 kg of trash was collected, contributing to the beautification of the coastal environment.

Sponsorship of the Żory Street Run

Żory, Poland

We took part as the main sponsor of a local street running event, helping to energize a community-based event in which residents of Żory and its surrounding areas participate.

Donation activity for a children’s home

Irapuato, Guanajuato, Mexico

We held a fundraising campaign in-house and donated personal hygiene products, food and other daily necessities to a children’s home. All departments worked together on this activity, contributing to support for the local community and to stronger partnerships both inside and outside the Company.

Donation to the Community Chest of Korea

Sites in Seoul, Asan, Ulsan and Yeongyang, Korea

We donate approximately 40 million won a year to the “Fruit of Love” (Community Chest of Korea) at the Korean holidays of Seollal (Lunar New Year) and Chuseok, and in December.

Charity run

Children’s Hospital Foundation, Thailand

Through the “Run for Life Club” and as part of the CSR calendar project, under the theme of “uniting our hearts for new lives,” we promoted employee health and provided financial support to the Children’s Hospital Foundation.

Educational support for local primary and secondary schools

Puncak Alam, Malaysia

We provided financial support for children from families in need, covering 20 students in total: 10 each from a local primary school and a local secondary school. This helped ease the burden on the recipient families and improve the students’ motivation to learn.

Welfare support activity for the elderly

Hongmian Senior Service Center, Shilong Town, Dongguan, China

In cooperation with the Shilong Town government, we donated goods to and visited a senior service center. Through this charitable public-interest activity open to all members of the community, we fulfilled our corporate social responsibility. Through support for elderly residents, we demonstrated in concrete form how a company can contribute to the local community.

Participation in a Lunar New Year celebration luncheon

We took part in a Lunar New Year celebration luncheon hosted by the S.K.H. Tseung Kwan O Aged Care Complex. Approximately 300 elderly guests were welcomed by a primary school lion dance team and senior members of the Girl Guides, and celebrated the Lunar New Year with a meal, performances by seniors and a lucky draw. Simmons took part as a presenter of prizes at the lucky draw. Through this activity, we strengthened ties with the local community and demonstrated our continued participation in social contribution activities, and also contributed to building partnerships with local companies and community partners.
