Nifco Inc. (Headquarters: Yokosuka City, Kanagawa Pref., President: Masaharu Shibao, hereinafter "Nifco") has launched a field test of a heatstroke prevention system at Belluna Dome (Tokorozawa City, Saitama Pref.), which is managed and operated by SEIBU LIONS, INC. (Headquarters: Tokorozawa City, Saitama Pref., President: Tsuyoshi Okumura).

Since July of last year, Nifco has held a league sponsorship agreement with the six Pacific League teams—the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters, Tohoku Rakuten Golden Eagles, Saitama Seibu Lions, Chiba Lotte Marines, ORIX Buffaloes, and Fukuoka SoftBank Hawks—as well as Pacific League Marketing Corporation (Headquarters: Minato-ku, Tokyo, Chief Executive Officer: Kentaro Narita), and is continuing these initiatives into 2026.

Nifco has launched a field trial at Belluna Dome, the home stadium of the Saitama Seibu Lions, aimed at the full-scale implementation of "NETSZERO™", the company's heatstroke prevention system.
* "NETSZERO" is currently pending trademark registration.

Nifco’s heatstroke prevention system, "NETSZERO™", utilizes energy-efficient wireless sensors to enable remote monitoring of conditions at installation sites via PCs or smartphones. The system has already been fully implemented in 70 municipal schools in Yokosuka City, Kanagawa Pref., and is currently undergoing trials with various entities, including local governments (such as Ota City and Miyazaki City), educational institutions, and private companies, thereby contributing to the health and safety of children in schools and workers in diverse environments.
At Belluna Dome, where this demonstration experiment is taking place, environmental monitoring had previously been conducted; however, the new installation of sensors at ten locations throughout the dome allows for the automatic measurement of temperature, humidity, and WBGT (converted) values by area, enabling remote monitoring. This allows administrators to implement prompt heatstroke prevention measures tailored to current conditions and utilize the data for future planning. Furthermore, as measurement data is stored and graphed, it can be used for area-specific risk analysis and the development of air-conditioning management plans.

Nifco is committed not only to ensuring the health and safety of the staff and players at Belluna Dome but also to supporting the creation of an environment where baseball fans can enjoy watching games with peace of mind.
Following the demonstration experiment scheduled to begin in July 2026, the company aims to fully implement the system around September 2026.

<Features of the Heatstroke Prevention System>

・Uses wireless measurement sensors, making installation and removal easy and eliminating the need for extensive wiring work.
・Aggregates data via the cloud, allowing status checks from any internet-connected location without needing to visit the site.
・Visualizes temperature, humidity, and WBGT (calculated) values by area and sends alerts to administrators if readings exceed defined thresholds.
・Enables the export of historical measurement data for temperature, humidity, and WBGT (calculated) values.
・Automatically generates and exports daily checklists.
・Accumulates and graphs measurement data, which can be utilized for area-specific heatstroke risk analysis and for planning facility air conditioning management.
