Nifco Inc. (Headquarters: Yokosuka City, Kanagawa Pref., President: Masaharu Shibao ((hereinafter, Nifco)) has procured FIT Non-Fossil Certificate through Whole Energy, Inc. (Head office: Shinagawa Ward, Tokyo; Representative Director: Hiroshi Asano).
FIT Non-Fossil Certificate is a certificate of the environmental value of electricity generated by non-fossil fuel energy sources, which are subject to the Feed-in Tariff (FIT).
The procurement of FIT Non-Fossil Certificate contributes to the substantial reenergization of electricity used by enterprises and other entities and to the reduction of their CO2 emissions.
Through the procurement of this certificate, Nifco will substantially reduce its CO2 emissions by 135 tons* in fiscal 2021.

Nifco will continue to promote the use of renewable energy at its domestic and "overseas" bases to realize its Purpose, which is " Sparking Innovation by fastening small insights with technology for a better world" and to promote initiatives to combat climate change.
